Glazier

A glazier cuts and fits glass into residential or commercial structures. This includes design and installation of new windows, shower enclosures, splashbacks, mirrors and cabinets, or replacing and removing damaged glass. In commercial applications where glass represents the entire outer of the building, a glazier may be involved during the construction and engineering stage working with developers, engineers and architects.

A commercial or residential glazier will know about different types of glass properties and coatings, methods of fixing and finishing, supports in architecture, human impact safety and environmental benefits and energy efficient construction.
