Mechanical Engineer
A Mechanical Engineer working in the rail industry designs and oversees the engineering of passenger trains from concept to delivery.
It involves working with clients to establish needs and requirements, creating and refining concepts, working with the draftsmen to lay out the numerous technical drawings that form the foundations of the train, and finally staying on hand throughout the entire production process to iron out problems that crop up as the concept becomes reality.
